Chelley Sherman

Chelley Sherman is a new media artist and interaction designer based out of Los Angeles. She holds a BA in Graphic Design from Hunter College and extended studied in Cognitive Science. Her work focuses on the creation of multisensory experiences through digital art and technology. With influences stemming from human cognition, music and her undying fascination of the art of physics, she uses technology to bring immersive qualities to her work. Through 3D animation, code, sensor systems, and music, she seeks to heighten and distort perception to reveal deeper meanings of the mind and human experience. Her work has been showcased at the Gray Area Foundation for the Arts and Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival. She’s also been recognized for her work with adding electronics and lighting to cakes.
